Microsoft Excel 2016 Level 2 builds on skills learned in Level 1. This course offers lessons for Microsoft’s spreadsheet program, including:

Creating advanced formulas, Analyzing data with logical and lookup functions, Organizing worksheet data with Tables, Visualizing data with Charts, Analyzing data with PivotTables, Slicers, and PivotCharts, and Enhancing workbooks.

This, the third level of our training program, explores the advanced features in in Excel 2016. Students will cover how to automate worksheet functionality, audit worksheets, analyze data, work with multiple workbooks, export Excel data and import/export XML data.

Trying to find trends in raw data can be difficult. Learn to create pivot tables from your data in Excel. In this course we will create pivot tables and pivot charts from data in Excel as well as external data sources. Learn how to manipulate the information and modify the pivot table to answer your important questions.

Excel Power Query is a tool that helps you to query data from a data source to prepare it for use as information. The queried data can be used by Power Pivot, pivot tables and in a spreadsheet. Learn how to query databases and web sources in this webinar.

Can I sign up for several classes at once?
No, sign up for the classes one at a time.
Deadline to withdraw from class?
Two business days prior to class start date. If you do not withdraw by the withdrawal date or do not complete/pass a course, you are ineligible to take a class the following semester.
What if I get into class and it isn’t the right class for me?
Let the instructor know before/at the first break. You can then transfer your registration to another upcoming class.
What if there not enough students for the class to run?
Registrations will be confirmed 2 business days prior to class start date.
Can I take other classes through Northwest State/Custom Training Solutions?
The above classes are those that have been approved by Promedica. If you want to take others, it is at your own expense.
What is meant by supervisor approval required?
Upon receipt of your class confirmation email, please forward this to your supervisor for their approval. Once your supervisor responds with “APPROVED”, this email will need to be forwarded back to tnorris@northweststate.edu.
