Tableau Desktop

Course Description


Learn about the basics of Tableau for data analysis. Tableau includes live visual analytics and interactive dashboards to help you uncover hidden insights. In this you will learn how to connect to a data source, create filters and build a variety of data representations.

Can I sign up for several classes at once?
No, sign up for the classes one at a time.
Deadline to withdraw from class?
Two business days prior to class start date. If you do not withdraw by the withdrawal date or do not complete/pass a course, you are ineligible to take a class the following semester.
What if I get into class and it isn’t the right class for me?
Let the instructor know before/at the first break. You can then transfer your registration to another upcoming class.
What if there not enough students for the class to run?
Registrations will be confirmed 2 business days prior to class start date.
Can I take other classes through Northwest State/Custom Training Solutions?
The above classes are those that have been approved by Promedica. If you want to take others, it is at your own expense.
What is meant by supervisor approval required?
Upon receipt of your class confirmation email, please forward this to your supervisor for their approval. Once your supervisor responds with “APPROVED”, this email will need to be forwarded back to tnorris@northweststate.edu.
